Workplace training & instruction
A practical, educational library on how workplace training generally works — new-starter induction, and safety instruction by occupation. Each page explains the purpose, what is typically covered and who is responsible, at a general level. Informational only — not certified training, not an official qualification and not a substitute for legally required instruction. Employers remain responsible for determining required training, evaluating competence and authorising workers.

Frequently asked questions
Is this certified training or an official qualification?
No. These pages are general, educational guidance on how workplace training and instruction work — not certified training, not an accredited course and not an official qualification. They do not certify, approve or authorise any worker, and reading them does not satisfy any legal training requirement.
Does reading these pages satisfy a legal training requirement?
No. Mandatory and legally required instruction must be delivered by the employer (or a competent provider) in line with the applicable law. These resources support awareness and planning; they do not replace required instruction or transfer the employer’s responsibility.
Who is responsible for workplace training?
The employer is responsible for identifying required training, delivering or arranging it, evaluating competence, authorising workers and keeping records. These pages help you understand the process; they do not perform it for you.
Can I use these as an induction or instruction template?
You can use them as an educational starting point to understand what an induction or instruction generally covers, then adapt it to your workplace, your risk assessment and the applicable law. They are not a finished, compliant programme.
