An energised panel access workflow describes how opening or working near live electrical panels and switchgear fits together with the documents that control the arc-flash and shock hazards. Energised panel access is opening or working at electrical switchgear and panels that may still be live, with serious shock and arc-flash hazards. The workflow is the chain of documents around it — the assessment, the decision on whether isolation is possible, the arc-flash and shock controls, and any permit.
